Elite Academic Support Services produces board games and books targeted for family audiences that help children learn through social interactivity while reading or playing board games.
Elite Academic Support Services currently has four games in design stage and has published three books around the topic of education.
The Founder of Elite Academic Support Services, Bernella Caines-Hall has a vision for promoting healthy social interaction and learning through games. As a teacher with over twenty years experience, this is her passion.
Bernella has conceptualized a series of board games that people of all ages will enjoy which encompass the core principles of Math, English (composition), Spelling and Social Studies.
This website is dedicated to education and alternative ways to help children develop, specifically concentrating on game interaction as a learning support, while developing those all important social skills.

Bernella Caines-Hall
Bernella Caines-Hall is a mother of two young children and has been in the teaching profession for more than 20 years. She loves teaching students with learning challenges. Even though she has been teaching for many years, she has never stopped learning about new teaching methods.
Every year she works at improving her lessons and qualifications. Due to the fact that she understands the importance of learning being exciting, fun and linked to the ‘real world’, she strives to use technology and media in her classes.
She particularly likes to create student-centered lessons which involve computers, the Internet and digital media presentations.
Some of the subjects she teaches are: Math, English, Science, Social Studies and Social/Life Skills.

Her qualifications include:
- Master of Science in Counselling Psychology
- Bachelor of Education (Concentrating on Special Education with Social Work)
- Certificate in Secondary Education (Principles of Business and Social Studies)
- Certificate in Special Education.
- Bernella also possesses an International Amateur Athletic Federation’s level 1 certificate in sports and has coached secondary school athletics for six years (track & field).
BERNELLA HAS ALSO WORKED WITH A SUBSTANCE ABUSE OUTPATIENT FACILITY THAT PROVIDES CRISIS INTERVENTION COMMUNITY-BASED PREVENTION, TREATMENT AND REHABILITATION SERVICES TO PERSONS EXPERIENCING SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND RELATED PROBLEMS.
During this time, Bernella had the opportunity to work with juveniles and was a member of the Magistrates’ panel for the juvenile court. She also had the privilege of co-authoring a proposal for a grant from the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB) administered through the Justice improvement Program Secretariat Barbados, which was accepted.
As the project leader she spearheaded a very talented and motivated team, set objectives and ensured that the project not only met but exceeded its objectives due to the dedication of the project team.
